Edgy Meets Folk Wedding Inspiration
So many couples get engaged over the Holidays, so we’re celebrating with this edgy meets folk wedding inspiration that’s a little rustic and a little rock ‘n roll. Spring & Summer are still a super popular time to tie the knot, but Fall is taking over as the busiest season for weddings and we can’t complain. We love the darker color palettes, crisp air, changing trees and overall cozy, romantic feel of the season and we love shooting Autumn weddings.
If you’re looking for the perfect outdoor wedding venue in Birmingham, this is it. It’s actually a nature preserve nestled off the beaten path, but that’s whats so great about it. It’s wild and naturally beautiful. Perfect for the couple who wants that destination wedding feel, while staying close to home.
Things we love about this shoot: The Bride’s blueish-gray granny hair tied up in dutch braids, the oversized fabric banner & stormy watercolor invites, the rich floral tones, the cake that’s almost too pretty to eat & the cutest mini macarons, the s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g gown & light as a feather veil, and the tablescape that was an Autumnal dream. We also must point out that the lyric on that amazing larger than life banner is from the song “Cherry Blossoms”, written by our friend and talented musician, Wilder Adkins. This shoot came together with the help of some super talented ladies who we can’t stop bragging about. Check them out in the links below and hire them for your wedding because they are BOMB at what they do. We hope you love this shoot as much as we do and find some inspo for your own folky Fall wedding.
