Tithe Barn Wedding | Hampshire, England
This Tithe Barn wedding in Hampshire, England was a quite the day of love and celebration, but let’s rewind for a minute. Let’s start with the part where Sarah, the bride, wrote us the most amazing inquiry and asked us to come to England to photograph her wedding. Of course, we responded with a resounding, “YES!”. We will never turn down a wedding in Europe, let’s be clear, but Sarah & Edd are what sealed the deal. You see, these two are head over heels for one another. It’s truly unique this job of ours. We get to be witness to endless love stories and that’s really special.
The day begin in a couple of charming Airbnb rentals. (Quick side note: It’s always a good idea to rent a stylish space with tons of natural light for the getting ready portion of your day. Just trust us.) The ceremony and reception took place at a restored 13th century Tithe Barn nestled in the countryside between Hampshire and Sussex. Anytime we’ve had the opportunity to photograph weddings in different countries or cultures, it’s our favorite thing. This English affair was so similar to an American wedding and, yet, entirely different. We love all of the little nuances. Between the dance floor confetti canons and celebrity video appearances (scroll down for the details), we’d say this one went down in the history books of everyone in attendance. Finally, a quick shout out to Ryan of Rolling Film. It was a joy to work so closely with a talented and genuinely kind videographer.

One moment worth noting – Sarah surprised Edd with a video, just before the first dance, of recording artist, Craig David, sending well wishes and congratulating them on their newlywed status! It was such a sweet moment and the entire room absolutely loved it. Well done, Sarah.
