Ion Meeting House Wedding | Mount Pleasant, SC
Jenna & Patrick’s wedding day was a light and easy, breezy day. If you’re ever in Charleston, a quick jaunt over the bridge will take you to Mount Pleasant, where you’ll find a quieter side to the tourist town. If every wedding could be an Ion Meeting House Wedding, we wouldn’t be mad about it. This new, made to look old, building nestled in the middle of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina is a minimal, naturally lit space with just enough detail to give it character, but also space to make it your own. Jenna & Patrick opted to add a few subtle details: A couple of persian rugs, some greenery and natural wood chairs to compliment the bright white indoor space.
The thing that stands out about this day was the general sense of ease. No stressing. No rushing. The weather was memorable, in that, it was perfectly pleasant. The midday ceremony was followed by an afternoon reception at the charming Old Village Post House Inn. If you’re plannin a wedding in Mount Pleasant, look no further than this one for all the inspiration.
