White Sands Engagement Session | New Mexico
Here we are! It’s 2020 and we’re blogging for the second time this year – The first and only other post this year was in January. How very 2020, wouldn’t you say? Well, do we have a blog post for you today! We can’t begin to tell you just how serendipitous working with Leah & Eric was. We’ve known Leah since she moved to Birmingham a few years back. Leah & Eric originally met while he was stationed (Air Force) stateside for a few months. 90% of Leah & Eric’s relationship has been long distance. And when we say long distance, we mean Italy and Korea kind of long distance. Thank God for FaceTime, amiright?
We’ve had our sights set on visiting White Sands National Park for a few years now, but just never had any solid plans in the works. We’ve also always always always wanted to do a shoot of some sort on those beautiful white dunes. Enter, Leah & Eric. We’ll share the full story when we blog the wedding (coming to the blog oh-so-soon!), but for now, just know that all of our dreams came true with this shoot.
Leah locked her keys in her car just an hour before our session. Eric was jet-lagged, having just arrived stateside a few days before. We pulled them away from their family-only, tailgate-style, rehearsal dinner for 15 minutes of sunset in White Sands and here’s what we came away with.
